They are only little for a little while. It is so important to remember this while they are little and while we are choosing our daily moments.
Today, I get to rock my baby back to sleep...again...then again. My sweet boy has not been napping very well since I was about 8.5 months pregnant with Zyon. She is 2.5 months old, so I would say this goes beyond basic sleep regression. His lack of good naps has been difficult on all of us. And poor baby has been so tired, and being tired causes his behavior to decline. 😔 As I felt myself getting a little frustrated that he keeps waking up because I have a few things I can get done while the babies are napping, I had to remind myself. He will only be little for a little while. So I will just rock him and let him sleep with me until he is rested. I know I need the connection time with my little man, especially since I am having to devote so much of myself to new little sister in this season. Sometimes obedience is rest. Sometimes rest looks like rocking my baby while he sleeps a little longer 🥰🤎🤎🤎
